The Learning Bubble

Each child has access to their own learning space and class community page along with a range of exciting learning resources. To access these resources as well as other useful things, children need to log into our 'Learning Bubble'. To do this they need to click the 'log in' button on the bottom right of this screen or click the image underneath where it says 'Log into our Learning Bubble. Every child has a username and password. This should be in their homework diary or reading record book. If your child can not find their log in details please speak to Mrs Dell.

Hello to all children, parents and carers. I’m very excited for the year ahead. We are going to be a small, but beautifully formed little family of twenty one. Myself, Mr Sinclair Smith and Mrs Percival have lots of exciting things planned. So watch this space!

Class Routines

Spellings - Spelling homework will be set every Monday. The spellings will be stuck in your Spelling Book and you will have until the following Monday to learn them.

Reading - It is very important that you read at home at least three times a week, then make sure you write down the pages you have read in your Homework Diary. I will be checking!

Mathematics - Maths homework will be set every Tuesday and collected in on Thursday. Some homework tasks will be set on the Learning Bubble or in the Maths Homework Books.

Homework Diaries must be signed each week by a parent or carer.

PE Kits

PE kits should be brought into school on a Monday and taken home on a Friday. The kit should include: a white t-shirt, black shorts, pumps and trainers. In winter a track suit may be worn for outdoor PE.

Homework You are all working really hard with Reading Plus. Remember to read your reading book too as practice really does make perfect! Make sure that you keep homework diaries filled in and signed at the end of every week. You will also receive weekly spellings and Maths homework. Remember to keep up to date with your project homework too.

This half term we are going to continue with our work on the Romans and coaches from the Warrington Wolves will be coming in to school to teach us the basics of rugby league. Towards the end of the half term, we have planned a tea party for the children that the parents are welcome to attend. Read on to find out more. Very shortly, you will find out whose class you will be in next year. You will also be receiving your end of year reports!
