The Learning Bubble

Each child has access to their own learning space and class community page along with a range of exciting learning resources. To access these resources as well as other useful things, children need to log into our 'Learning Bubble'. To do this they need to click the 'log in' button on the bottom right of this screen or click the image underneath where it says 'Log into our Learning Bubble. Every child has a username and password. This should be in their homework diary or reading record book. If your child can not find their log in details please speak to Miss Thomas.

Coming into school

The classroom door will be open at 8:35am, so please make sure you're children arrive promptly. This is so they have enough time to settle in for the day and put their belongings away independently before registration.

P.E Kits

P.E kits should be brought into school on a Monday and taken home at the end of the week.

Indoor PE Kit - Plain white t-shirt, plain black shorts and black pumps.

Outdoor P.E Kit - as above but also plain black tracksuit bottoms, top and trainers.

Our P.E days are Monday and Friday so please make sure earrings are not worn on those days.

Snack

We expect the children to have a healthy snack and water in school every day. Please make sure these are labelled.

Also, the kitchen will continue to sell toast and drinks. If you would like your child to purchase a snack please ensure your Parent Pay account is topped up.

Parent Helpers

Parent helpers play a vital part within our class and we would love it if you could join us. We are looking for  a parent, grandparent or family member who can come in on a regular basis to help with jobs around the class. Please let us know if you are available.

If you have any questions at all, please speak to me before or after school.

I am looking forward to a fantastic year!

Kind regards,

Miss Thomas

Reading books and homework

Please bring your reading book to school every day in your reading folder. It is important to read and talk about your book every night.

KS1 change their own reading books but only if they have read the current book and it has been signed. The children have the opportunity to do this in a morning.

Keywords will be coming home each week to learn and there will be 10 dotted to work on at home.

There will also be letters and sounds homework with a spelling focus coming home on a weekly basis and a maths booklet. These will be coming home over the next fortnight.
