Casual Midday Assistant

The Governors are seeking to appoint a caring individual to join our team of midday assistants on a casual basis, supervising children from Reception through to Year 6 during the lunch break. Duties will involve supervising mealtime and indoor or outdoor play and games. This position could be appropriate for a student who is looking to gain some experience with working with children and / or leading playground games.  Previous experience not required; induction and training opportunities are available.  However, individuals should be able to display a caring, fair and common sense approach to children.  Cover is generally from 12.20 - 1.20 p.m. as and when required.

Level 2 Teaching Assistant (Maternity Cover)

The Governors are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant (Maternity Cover) to support the work of the Foundation Team and work alongside the class teacher to support specific children. Applicants must be highly motivated and committed to the highest standards of pupil achievement and upholding the caring, sharing ethos of the school.

Hours:                          30 hours per week
