Midday Assistant - Fixed Term
School are looking to appoint a Midday Assistant to start as soon as possible.
5 Hours per week 12.20-1.20pm, Fixed Term, Term Time Only
Salary Range: Grade 3 SCP 4-5 (£2,399.82 to £2,443.54)
The Governors of Locking Stumps Community Primary School are seeking to appoint a Midday Assistant to work 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (term time only), to help supervise the children during lunchtime, put out and clean the tables, provide basic first aid for minor injuries and engage the children in play activities indoors and outdoors. Although the role is only for 1 hour per day, it is a vital part of our school day.
About you
We are looking for someone who has a caring, who enjoys working and being around children.
Previous experience is not required.

Casual Midday Assistant
The Governors are seeking to appoint a caring individual to join our team of midday assistants on a casual basis, supervising children from Reception through to Year 6 during the lunch break. Duties will involve supervising mealtime and indoor or outdoor play and games. This position could be appropriate for a student who is looking to gain some experience with working with children and / or leading playground games. Previous experience not required; induction and training opportunities are available. However, individuals should be able to display a caring, fair and common sense approach to children. Cover is generally from 12.20 - 1.20 p.m. as and when required.
